The inevitable has become a reality. I have made the decision to not make any more knife making commitments. Knife making started out as a hobby that turned into a second job that I do not need, nor want. In the beginning it was fun and now not so much. I’m humbled that my knives are in demand, in fact so much in demand that it quickly became overwhelming and caused me to avoid all knife related inquiries, communications and forums and for that I apologize.
I will continue to make knives at my own pace, but not on the scale of my first year and a half. I will also continue to design and expand upon my existing models. I just can’t dedicate the time necessary to handle the demand and I do not want to be a slave to a hobby.
If I have knives available for sale they will be posted on the Dirttime forums. I generally will have a few pieces available for sale at the annual Dirttime events as well.
I will eventually rework my website to reflect my decision, but it is still available to be viewed HERE.
