Wilderness Survival and Wilderness Self Sufficiency requires a primary tool, a knife.

If not the number one item, a good knife is one of the top items needed when you are out camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, climbing and almost anything you do in the wilds. There are many great production knife companies out there, but there is no better feeling than a knife designed and made by a custom maker.
Everyone has different needs and wants when it comes to a knife, so whether it is something from my standard line up (still evolving) or something of your own flavor and design I can accommodate you for a reasonable price, in a timely fashion. My making style usually revolves around bushcraft and survival and I tend to stay on the practical side of things rather than the tactical side of things. You will not find any black coatings, serrations or sawbacks on any of my knives, but rather clean cutting edges with smooth lines in a more traditional fashion.
I’m not only a knife maker but a knife user and I have found that there is no holy grail when it comes to the perfect knife, though I think I’m getting closer everyday. It is difficult to find the one knife solution so lets work together to find the perfect knife for your needs.
